The sunrise is physics, not luck — grenadine is heavier than juice, so it will always sink if you let it.
Method

Fill a tall glass to the brim with ice — a full glass is essential for a clean gradient.

Add the tequila and top with orange juice, stirring gently to combine.

Let the drink settle for a few seconds.
- 04
Pour the grenadine slowly down the inside of the glass, or over the back of a bar spoon held near the bottom, and do not stir.
